NH.--(GENERAL RELEASE)--July 4, 2006—Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Inc.
announced today the release of “Track-IT/SOA”. This is the much anticipated release of
their award winning software suite used to track materials and inventory in
the factory setting.
“The SOA release has been in development for about 9 months and we are
extremely proud of the accomplishment.
It gives us one more tool to help our customers grow revenue and
contain costs” states Bob Brennan, IMS President.
This new product suite is based on Intermec CK30 and CK30 Mobile
Computers. The software implements a
complete “Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and is meant as an upgrade to
the existing IMS suite. Microsoft
mobile operating systems and Visual Studio Development environment are used
exclusively.
The new architecture is a complete re-design to take advantage of both the
newest trends in hardware, software and tools advances. Customers benefit from the real-time nature
of all tracking operations throughout the enterprise. “We provide our customer with a very
powerful, real-time tool that allows them to plan and execute their business
without delay. Tracking business in
real-time is our new motto” adds
Brennan.
Customers on an active maintenance plan will be offered the first
opportunity to deploy Q3 of 2006.
